In This Moment had a date with Tulsa, OK recently on the Black Widow Tour, bringing their killer production to the Brady Theater. This was hands down the best metal show of the year! Partners in crime, Maria Brink & Chris Howorth, have created a unique musical journey as well as an amazing visual performance. Complete with costume changes, set changes, spectacular lights and fog, this show had the audience mesmerized from beginning to finish. The band played a ton of new material from their brand new album “Black Widow” including the hit “Sick Like Me”, “Sex Metal Barbie” and my personal favorite “Big Bad Wolf” which had the back up dancers donning werewolf masks and creeping around in the blue lights and fog until Maria made one of her many grand entrances. Fans came dressed in costumes, masks and In This Moment t-shirts and screamed “I love you Maria” in between every song. One of the many highlights of the show was when Maria went solo taking center stage perched on a chair and bathed in lights and fog for an amazing rendition of the ballad “Into The Light”. Every eye was glued on Maria and in awe of her performance. The spotlight turned to the band about mid show when the guys treated the audience to a medley of Metallica, Slayer and Pantera songs. This is definitely a MUST SEE SHOW! Catch the band on tour in 2015!
